Seattle Cucina offers hands on cooking classes for kids and teens across the greater Seattle Area! We teach in schools, community centers and more, as well as offering classes at our Learning Kitchen located at the Fishermans Terminal in North Queen Anne. Our vision is for all youth to nourish themselves and their community through mindful cooking, healthy eating habits, and an appreciation for food.
Join us for 8 exciting weeks of breakfasts eaten around the world – because everybody has got to eat! Each week we will whip up a recipe from across the globe, including everything from ramen to galettes! Breakfast is a unique way to explore the varying food and cultural traditions of the world. By the end of this series, students will have the practical skills necessary to begin cooking at home, and the knowledge necessary to eat food in a wholesome, nutritional, and sustainable manner. It’s always breakfast somewhere! Class prices include a large snack. Accommodations for some dietary restrictions can be made upon request, please contact Seattle Cucina at least two weeks prior to the start of class to determine whether accommodations can be made.
