Erika Bass is a Seattle painter/printmaker with over twenty-five years of teaching experience. She taught with FLP in the past and is excited to come back and continue exploring art-making with the students. Her work is currently represented by Seattle Art Museum Gallery and Drizl.com Gallery.
In this engaging advanced class, students will work on in-depth projects to develop skills in building elaborate and multifaceted artworks using both observational and inventive techniques. Students will learn from examining the work of master artists and have one homework assignment exploring an artist’s stylistic expression.
Required Skills for Students to Be Successful in This Class:
Compliance with Family Rights & Responsibilities.
We will do one short homework assignment looking at art.
Parents are welcome to quietly observe. Please arrange with the teacher prior to class.
