class description

Session one of this two-part class discusses how ancient Greek culture, religion, and geography gave birth to the art of theater, and how it influences Western art and culture to this day. We will explore the plays themselves, by reading modern interpretations and viewing excerpts of contemporary productions. This session will finish with making costumes and sets for Session 2’s Greek theater inspired production.
