Seattle Cucina offers hands on cooking classes for kids and teens across the greater Seattle Area! We teach in schools, community centers and more, as well as offering classes at our Learning Kitchen located at the Fishermans Terminal in North Queen Anne. Our vision is for all youth to nourish themselves and their community through mindful cooking, healthy eating habits, and an appreciation for food.
Let’s make healthy food fun! Participants will have a creative start to their week with this class that turns lunch time into art time. Parents and kids alike will have a blast getting their hands dirty while making a nutritious meal into a playful work of art. Tiny Tots Cooking is a perfect mix of playtime and learning all about what food has to offer. Activities include designing from-scratch ‘pizza faces’, painting with fruit and vegetable dyes, fresh bread sculptures, fun easy snacks, and much much more! Class prices include a large snack. Accommodations for some dietary restrictions can be made upon request, please contact Seattle Cucina at least two weeks prior to the start of class to determine whether accommodations can be made.
Required Skills for Students to Be Successful in This Class:
Students must be accompanied by an adult. Compliance with Family Rights & Responsibilities.
Students must bring a step stool to class.
